I have a call into RED, but I wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this.

Just got my scarlet-x. I tried to attach my side handle from my epic-m to it. Seems as if the screw wont screw all the way down. I can physically press the handle closer to the body, but the screw feels as if it wont move anymore.

Anyone else experience this?

This IS NOT the way it is on my epic-m.

Kyle

Kyle,
Just got my Scarlet and Side Handle today, and when I first tried to screw the handle on the brain, I noticed out that if you first press the handle tight against the brain before tightening the screw, it goes together without cross threading.
Sounds like you might be catching only a few threads instead of seating the handle down tight. BTW, the exposed screw measures ~7mm from the base on my handle. If yours is longer that might help you figure it out.
Best, Jeff

Yeah, I've done this a handful of times on my Epic, but this is just weird. I am starting to think the scarlet was tapped wrong....

Screwed in to my scarlet with no issues...
