Shutter Sync ? Need help

Good day . I found some information in Manual and also in forum about Shutter Sync. But Can some body just simply tell me what i need to do and how to Sync 3 Cameras Shutters. Also it can be funny but it is not my Idea , it is SFX team idea . They need to do it , but why they need it ? can some body explain it.
I can ask them but i want to get another answer not from my team .

Get a device that creates a genlock signal and then feed its signal to the genlock connector.

Oh and for fun you might want to Jam Sync them as well (Time code in connector) to guarantee that they each frame has exactly the same tc. So get a lock it box or something.

The effects guys want you to do this to make sure each frame is captured at exactly the same time and with the same time code number.

It also might be helpful to enable both features.

Jam sync:
system
project
configure
timecode
jam sync

Gen lock:
Sensor
shutter
genlock
