Hi folks
On November 14th 2012 there will be a total solar eclipse event. One of the best spots to see this event is in my home town of Port Douglas in Far North Queensland, Australia.

So if any Aussies are making the trip up north for the event, or any of you internationals are coming down under please feel free to get in touch with me via this thread, PM or email (camc@digicine.com.au) - if there are a few of you I'll try to organise a nice boozey lunch or dinner or something! Hit me up if you need any advise on where to get a good shot from, or where to stay, or how to avoid getting ripped off by the locals (virtually impossible, this is a resort town after all but there are a few tricks I know!), or what beer to drink etc etc. Just don't ask me about how to shoot the actual eclipse because I know no more than Mr Google does.
Not long to go - less than 2 weeks.
Lets turn this into one big geeky celestial camera party!!!
Cheers
Cam
