Hey guys,

I'm leaving for a shoot in East Greenland this weekend and I'll be shooting with my Epic and 5DIII. (ML RAW)
I'll be doing a fair bit of walking and I won't have an assistant with me.
As a result I often have the 5D on a strap so my hands are free to shoot with the RED but, I'd like to be able to sling my Epic in the same way...
I was wondering if anyone had figured out a cool way to attach some kind of shoulder strap to their DSMC?
I'm busy figuring something out for myself but thought it would be interesting to see what others have come up with.

cheers

if you are not using a tripod then there is plenty of strap systems out there for photo cameras that screw at the bottom 1/4 hole

I have the viewfactor strap as well and I guess it is as good as it gets.....the biggest issue I have with any red walk around solution is the battery drain even if powered off.....so I have pretty much given up on it...the XLs make it a little easier but you still have bring 4 for a half day....which is just a lot of weight....
i use this http://goincase.com/shop/incase-dslr-pro-slingpack for my epic....holds a fully configured camera and swings to the front really easy...pop the battery on and ready to go...hold a lot of other stuff as well and is still comfortable for longer hikes....

fuji used to make a strap for their gx680 series....I have been trying to find one it might be the perfect fit for red....

Yep, the Levo-strap is exactly what you want. It's the only "made-for-RED"-solution so far and really trustworthy.
The mounting brackets and connectors on the strap are a bit bulky and can get in the way of some stuff you have mounted on your top-plate, but there is some serious weight to carry and you want to keep your configuration as light as possible anyway.

Also, keep in mind, a RED EPIC/Scarlet on a shoulder-strap isn't something you want to carry around for hours, seriously. But it works.
