Shoulder Pad Modification for Red 19mm Dovetail?

I'm getting tired of using that short rubber shoulder pad on Red's shoulder mount. What are people doing to hack it?

Abel sells the camera comfort shoulder pads and a lot of people have liked them for their REDs. Inexpensive and effective.

Sorry, we don't carry the jetpacks.

Is anyone using one of the ET bridgeplates and somehow fastening a shoulder pad to that? I'm sure it could be machined to fit, didn't know if someone already did it. I saw that someone out there machined their Red dovetail to fit the ET bridgeplate, but I'd like to see better options.

I use the comfort pads on occasion. They are pretty nice, and a cheap solution.

Yeah, I'm just a wimp, but that camera, all loaded up, is darn heavy! After a few minutes and my shoulder is pretty tired and sore. And I'm using NIKON GLASS! I can't even imagine lugging around a big Cooke and doing hand-held. I'd be dead inside of an hour.
