Just about to use Red for the first time. Just want to make sure I've got the best versions of software.
My current system is:
Macbook Pro 2.4gHz 4GB RAM
OSX 10.4.11
Final Cut Studio 6.0.2
QT 7.4.5
Question is should I bother upgrading to OSX 10.5. According to the Red site they seem to recommend FCP 6.0.3 or upwards. I noticed you can't upgrade to FCP 6.0.3 and you have to go to 6.0.4 now and need OSX 10.5 for that. FCP 6.0.3 was only around for a month which seems there might have been some probs. Ideally I'd prefer to leave everything the way it is cause it works...
