I wrote, shot & directed this short film called "The Serum" . Its basically about 3 people who wake up kidnapped by a crazy doctor. He injects them with a disease that will kill them within the hour and tells them only one of them gets "The Serum" with the cure, and they have to decide amongst each other.

We shot with my RED Scarlet MX at 800 iso and Canon Cn-e 24 & 50mm lens.
Kino Flo 4x4 lighting
These are some shots just straight from the camera.

Its only my second short ever, but i thought id share. Enjoy, when its done ill post on here too.

dood, great stuff. MX is still a great camera.....

Looks nice, any denoise in post? And which NLE by the way? Thanks!

All of these images are straight from the camera. We actually shot flat, but I changed it to Red gamma 4 before I took the still. I just grabbed the scree shots with red cine. The last pic I played with the colors a little.
I'm editing the short now with premiere and its coming out great.

Thats great, I'm eager to get my Scarlet out there too. But still doing more test shots and lens combos.

I am eager to upgrade sometime next year but I am very happy with the images I'm getting now. I know its capable of so much more.

Likewise, I'm sort of looking for an epic mx brain. And I'll be set for a very long time

Hi Jason, I know you mentioned you were mixing the scarlet with the a7sii on this project. Are any of the frames from the Sony or all these are from scarlet? Curious to see how your results turned out mixing these two...!
Nice work
Kris
