  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

I don't get it completely.
If I would be in the dome looking at the skier footage projected over my head, I would see you're face somewhere in the 360° at the bottom of projected area?

That is a wild setup! It would be cool for Apple/Quicktime to develop a hybrid video/360º panorama codec where one could click and pan while video plays. I would be all over it if it happened.

That was shot during a rehearsal. We all ducked behind the mountain for the takes.
 
Brilliant setup. Have you compared the 8mm 2.8 nikkor to the 6mm 2.8 during projection? Of course the extra 40 mm of view will help bring the projection closer to the floor of the dome.
