  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Is there a list of films, at least major films that have been shot on RED in 3D???
Im looking for references for a client,
Help me out guys....
 
That I know about.....

Julia X 3D - Shot in Shereveport, LA sept. 2009 (in post-production)
Shot on RED using 21st Century 3D BX3 beamsplitter & about 2% of movie shot on 3DVX camera.

So there arn't really too many success stories in using the RED ONE as a part of a 3D rig. Weird? How come do people keep on using HDCAMS etc.
 
Shooting RED 3D can get expensive.....but it looks amazing.
 
X-Games 3D the Movie was shot with Red Cameras. At least the Summer X-games moto, skate and rally was. We shot with a variety of lenses and some of the results were pretty amazing.

If by " Red rig" you mean to scarlets side by side......not sure what there is to be to excited about a 3"-4" interocular.... but yes we are all eagearly awaiting the new cameras...

That was also the case for "Dark Country," which was ironically released almost entirely in 2D. The combination of Red and SI allowed for different types of rigs for different shot needs, often the case in 3D live action production.

Holy smokes, I've joined two forums this evening and, it has been extremely difficult. Who designed this format?

I hope someone can point me in the right direction. I have few questions about shutter sync.

Anyway I hear that there are lots more red 3d movies being produced as we speak but the makers are unable to tell us anything. Whenever you guys can talk about it please do so, as it will be that much easier for the rest of us :) Respect!

Because I am in Poland and would like to test my new prototype of stereoscopic adapter for the RED ONE camera, so if you know someone that has ONE in Poland then please let me know.
