I did this small video yesterday with a model down in Tulum, Mexico. There was no light at all only the moon by our side!

Any feedback its always appreciated!

ISO: 3200
Lens: Leica-R 35mm at 1.4 & 85mm at 1.4
De Noise in DaVinci.

Here are some R3D Files so you can play around, there was HDR enable but since I didn't record everything on HDR I didn't want to have different type of images.

That's very impressive. Moonlight, you say? :-)

I noticed some weird artefacts in some shots. This might be Vimeo's compression algorithm, or perhaps just what the Monstro's noise floor looks like. It's as if there is a permanent sheet of linen over the image. Is this visible in the RAW file? I took a screenshot:

That is excellent. Can you give more details on how this was done? Lenses, ISO settings, de noise in post?

I set in post ISO 3200, all was film also with Leica-R at 1.4 so the focus was something hard since it was all hands on.

I did De noise in Post Production with DaVinci, Still the image came pretty nice without it.

Here are some R3D files so you can play around, if you guys want the full R3D let me know and I can upload it.

Here are a few with some heavy ass noise reduction.

ISO 3200 is a tick to far noise wise (imo) altough still very impressive, ISO 2000 with a speedbooster would give you better results I guess (5k or 5.5k).

Gave it a shot. These are pushing 8000 ISO (except the first one, that one's 5000). And for that, I'd say 2K is probably the max resolution I'd want to deliver to before noise or noise-reduction artifacts really start to kill the image. Added some grain to try and smooth things over. Pretty impressive either way.

Looking good Aaron, I was wondering when you would show up in this thread!!

Next time I know who I will ask for tips to color grade this videos.

That's probably because the source file has a massive black border around it. It's 3011 x 2160 resolution.

Have used a border before to counter the re-scaling that blows the picture up and/or softens it when re-sizing the pic at the host end, must have found the limit lol.
