  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Shot on Epic-Guillermo del Toro,"Pacific Rim"

sounds like a fun project - hope its a better story than Battle LA - but given the director... Im not that worried.

Awesome to hear that it is a good film, although I like pretty much everything he does. Was looking forward to his take on "The Hobbit",he has a different vision that I think would have complimented PJ's "LOTR". Pretty sure some of his stuff will make it into the finished film. Looking forward to both of them!

I'll be seeing this in 2D, then. Oh, well, I'm not a huge fan of 3D anyway. I'm mostly curious about Epic-shot non-stereoscopic movies, because I'm somewhat concerned about the Epic being pegged as a camera that's mostly useful for stereo work.

I have already seen the film a couple times now and I like it. Originally didn't think I would but its pretty awesome. Footage is crazy sharp.

Didn't know any footage existed yet (to the public) - let alone a finished movie (a it's due July 2013) - are you working on the project?

I work at WB sometimes as a projectionist/engineer. So I get to see a lot of things before they come out.

Guillermo explains in an interview why they chose Epic over Alexa. After testing. Really great points.
