  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Shot a little something for fun yesterday in Boulder, CO on my Scarlet

Nice work, Mike. The MX Sensor is a lovely sensor.
Where you aiming high ISOs for outside? Try and push it to 1250 and then pull back the highlights in post! It's pretty amazing what one can pull back from the beyond. Also, IPP2 processing is really ace, hey!

Are you serious?

That is a Scarlet MX?

Looks incredible.

You should try out the MX sensor one day. It produces (when done right) a really stunning image.

I shot 800 with ND in the mattebox. :)

Little "behind the scenes". Def not the best angle of me and whats with my "i make a stinky face when i focus" lol.

Heres another little shot I did of my fiance in Chicago when we were visiting home last month.

The first video shows just how lovely those sensors are. The second one shows why film is a much better medium for shooting at night. It won't be long until Red solves that problem, I don't think...

I always say if you have a problem with an image, blame the artist not the tool. I was shooting that one shot of Nick in Chicago real fast and botched it. The scarlet is fully capable of getting beautiful results at night.

It's not bad at all... I've shot far worse with the Scarlet MX
