Hi there, looking to find any specialty lights or cameras that could shoot underwater at night and still create an image without the use of lights. Looking into IR light or thermal imaging, but wanted to see if any of you knew someone that has tried this before?

How far away would the subject be, and what focal lengths would you want to use?

I've provided a very effective IR setup for filming in seawater filled tanks. Water does indeed attenuate IR, broadly speaking, but near IR is a very different matter.

PM or email me via www.kippertie.com if you like.

My company distributes Keldan lighting systems, and the Video 8 Series with interchangeable LED modules has a "Deep Red" module emitting a 455nm wavelength that could be very interesting when combined with a KipperTie OLPF.

I've never seen any content shot with these lights, but I'd like to! They mostly go to universities...

I have the lights Ryan mentions, just waiting for my Kippertie OLPF... I'm enquiring about the new one from RED at the moment, will get that instead if it's suitable and ready to ship.
