  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Shooting in Minnesota! (PICS)

Ha! I thought you were going to have some genius way to rig up the H4N. Sometime you just gotta tie shit on.

Here are a bunch of stills from the footage!

Looks sweet dude. I love the one of the guy being dragged. Nice blue and gold tones. These shots all feel cold without being desaturated, which looks awesome.

I've also got the efs 17-55mm/2.8. How to you find working with it on the Scarlet? That'll be my main 4k lens until I can get some better glass. I definitely like the fact that it has IS.

The EFS lense covers 4k without problem ?
I have a tamron 17-50/2.8 myself and i was about to sell it but it's interesting focal range could be helpful sometimes.

I'm impressed with the result a light rig like tha can give you - Most encouraging. I like how you didnt lose too much depth of field in the closeups. (I mean you lost enough for the background but didn't start losing dof while still on the face. Did you use dome ND filters to stop the lens down?) Really nice work. Looks really sharp. Would love to see that in 4k. Bravo.. Well done and good luck with the `scarlet.

Hey Niko, thanks for sharing. I checked out your videos, lookin good. Do you need any assistance for another shoot? I work in White Bear Lake, and if you're in MN somewhere, I'd be happy to help.
