Hi,
I'm currently on set with a rented camera on build 15. When I open the clips in REDAlert Version 3.38 all the clips open with a -3 Tint in metadata.
However I double checked the camera and Tint is set to 0 (and all other color settings for metadata are also 0).
Can anyone chime in? I'm wondering why this is happening!? Not a huge issue as it can be zero'd but It would be good to know.
Regards,

Brian

You rented a camera and it's stuck on Build 15? I'd complain and tell the rental house it needs the Build 16 release update, stat!.

Not sure about the metadata settings though. Have you dug through the menus to see if any of the gain, color, etc.. settings have been mucked around with? I know it's a rental and don't want to get you in trouble, but what about reloading the Build 15 firmware?

There were some quirky issues with B15. I'm not even sure if all these issues were ever discovered, pretty much all of the known (apparently some unknown) were corrected with B16.

Yes, Clairmont RED cameras are currently build 15. All of them as far as I know.
Numerous cameras on tv series here in town are currently using B15.
My personal camera is build 16 and I really am missing the menu options.
-3 Tint in metadata is not a major issue as it's effect is similar to a light minusgreen (magenta).
An easy click/fix but I'm wondering if my version of Redalert V 3.38 is automatically shifting the Tint to -3 to compensate for slight green cast in REC709 Gamma Space (the only option in B15)?
Unlikely but that's my only thought at this point.
