Hi all,

I have a commercial coming up where we'll be mostly shooting 5KFF 48fps at 7:1 compression (I believe this is the lowest Redcode that the Scarlet-W will go)

It's a fashion commercial, all of it will be shot on a white cyclorama. Models with footwear, most shots on a crane. We'll probably be around a T4 stop at ISO 640-1000.

Has anyone seen any issues shooting at 48fps with 7:1 compression?

Even when you shoot 24fps?

Yup. We often shoot long interviews, multicam. 8:1 is great for that. For simple setups, it's a great balance of file size to quality. If you have very complicated backgrounds, then 5:1 certainly helps.

But for 48fps 7:1 should be fine, at least in our experience.
