Hallo Heavyuser,

i am very proud to announce that the the first 5:1 Movie was shoot with an Epic .
We shoot a Short Film for the biggest German Brewery with the first Epic in Germany in July.
In October there will be the premiere in a especially and exclusive movie- theater, which was build only to watch this film.
To show the film they use 5 Full-HD Beamer with 10000 ANSI and a completely new designed media control unit to
combine all these Beamer to one Picture witch will be 20 meters long and 4 meters high.

Thanks Red

Oliver

Wow, sounds, well, EPIC.. would love to see it..

Hey Justin,

the premiere is end of october in germany.
but believe me - i cant wait.
we start testing the panoramascreening at 3 of october, then i will show some pictures here in reduser.

f.... my postproduction house ( wefadetogrey in cologne, germany ) lost two redrockets - cards during the postproduction for that 15 minute milestone. 8000 bucks gone. only by working with the epic-rawfiles
another problem: there is only a 22,5 fps full resolution preview possible in the moment.
anybody with a good idea.
believe me, they are fully and exellent equiped and one of the best in germany, if you choose the red.

hi christian,

the epic came from berlin and it was the nr.one which was deliverd in germany.
then pillefilm in wiesbaden ( my favorite rentalhouse in germany ) pimp it up , because a lot of things are missing and we build some special parts on it.
the premiere will be in the middle of october in the brewery of krombacher, which is based in kreuztal close to siegen.
the build a fantastic cinema especially for that film.

yesterday my postproduction told me that that whole data for that film will be more then 90 TB after the postproduction.
unbelievable.
we lost two redrocket - cards.
shit.
