Hey guys, so my goal is to shoot 4.5k (which I think is 2:1) and export to 4k in 16:9 ratio. I know I can add frame guide lines to my monitor display to see the constraints of 16:9 but I want to take it a step farther and black out the areas to the left and right outside the 16:9 frame. OR maybe display the image itself in 16:9 on the screen but shoot in 4.5k 2:1. How can I do this?

You set your guides and then the transparency outside to 0...or 100 black. Sorry, don't have it in front of me. I usually leave it at like 50% when I shoot with a recorded "lookaround". I do this often when I shoot and frame in 5k but want to record the full 6k image around it.
