  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Hi has anyone shipped big bundle to Australia?. Im trying to organize shipping & insurance for $31900 worth of Red gear to Sydney & I need full cover for loss & damage. I tried FedEx & was told over the phone they don't provide insurance for this amount of money. I wads told by a rep and Red they thought fedex did. Does anyone have any ideas. Im due to make payments in a couple of days, I need to sort this out. :001_smile:thanks
 
I just flew into AUS with two pelican boxes checked in, total 150k .. Cameras themselves I had stripped down small as check in luggage.

Insurance for theif or lost? your thinking ? ... We use our AMEX flight insurance.
If packed well it should never get damaged. Even if you drop it 10 feet..,
 
Thanks for info, ill look into amex. can I ask how much insurance was for the 150k?
 
I was thinking it might be cheaper to fly over & bring it back :001_smile:
