Shine On / Music Video shot with Epic and Red-One MX

[vincent kardasik]

Here is a clip I've shot this summer with an English artist named Charlotte O'Connor.
I was supposed to shoot this piece only with the Red One MX but we've received our Epic-M the day before leaving.
That was a good opportunity to test it.

Attached are some behind the scenes pics shot by... our client! Thanks Marta for that.

Where did you shoot this? Some of it looks like the Badlands of South Dakota

Vincent, nice job... There is some nice stuff in there and she has a great voice!

Starting at about 1:46 everything goes really flat and almost dark and colorless, just wondering if the shots were a bit overexposed and you needed to bring it down in post, or if that was a look you were going for?

It was shot in the Spanish desert of Las Bardenas also called Bardenas Reales.

Honestly, when I've first watched the clip on Youtube, I had a bit of a shocker... nothing really looked like my final export.
We tried to achieve a dark look, desaturated int the desert but not what you can watch on Youtube right now... I don't really now what happened here as I didn't put the clip online, our client did it.
I have to wait a couple of months to get the authorization to put this clip on our social networks and I will post here my own version asap.
