  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

this first one was really run and gun.. had one china ball and I was fighting weird green fluorescent tubes.

everything improved

pretty much shot in 45min

shot a while back.. zeiss zf. non mx red
 
Cute piece, especially liked the psychedelic eyeballs.
Grade looks very fast food martish. Very effective, except I thought the flesh tones came out a little too hot and reddish from the tungsten. Maybe a big cool CFL in the china ball would have made things a little more even color wise and easier to deal with. Love big china balls.

david.. very true.. walked into the building never being in there before.. only had a tungsten bulb for the bulb.. and needed that light..

I did a quick grade and punched the saturation, skin tones for sure red

I like your grades from the few samples you have posted. You have a good eye for what works well for a scene to enhance dramatic impact in subtle ways.

Think it looks fine..especially for the situation there.

But not sure why the story is typed out all before it plays out...makes
it hard to watch as you know....everything. Might be better with
like a 3-5 second delay typed right on top of the footage.
 
yes. future shows will probably have the actual sheriffs blotter cut out from the newspaper or something as the header.. to get right into it.. :)

we like having it there too see.. as the viewer can see what we are doing.. shooting real stories, but next time it will be a quicker snippet :)


we just need to shoot some more of these hehe they are fun
