I am having issues with shared storage. We have an array we built hooked to 5 machines. We also have a new SNS Evo we are trying to move stuff from our old array on to. So one of our bays has everything online regarding the old array, but when the same identical mapping is done on any of our other bays though on a windows level its all there inside Avid when we go to our old project all the media is offline. So right now a single bay of ours is being used for both viewing the old project on the old array, and also being used to do consols to SNS Evo. We have 3 potential partitions we can write to on Evo and want to get three bays doing consols and another bay or two for browsing what to consol next in order to speed things along. So we are not sure what the problem is but so far only one bay seems to have the media online from that old project, all others do not, its just offline when we go to it inside Avid. Question 2 when doing a consol if we select delete original media how sure can we be that Avid won't corrupt any of the files its moving and now we have shot ourselves in the foot by trashing the originals? What happens if it were to crash mid process? Will the ones it hasn't started still be there? We are trying to migrate but do so correctly and efficiently. Thanks
