Simon...

you're showreel is spectacular... i'm sure your studio will do wonders with Nuke or any other software you choose to work with

its always about the hands behind the wheel... apps are just apps

Yeah. Nice work Simon!

your post-production reel is one of the best I've seen in a while.

Hi

We have just finished shotting a short film on RED and are about to go into post.

I exported 4K DPX (redlog) from RedAlert, and shake takes forever to refresh if i change the frame.

is it just me or is Shake incredibly slow?

I work with Shake all the time, latest OS and QT components, no issues here. I don't know why it would come down to OS vs. Shake at this stage, maybe OS 11, but that is a long way off.

Nuke is developed by Tinder with Ron Brinkman (formally of Apple, formally of Nothings Real a.k.a. Shake pre-Apple) and it's node based like Shake. Lots of folks are hot for Nuke, but Shake is still a tool used all the time.

So is there any spacial way to set up my shake to be able to work with 4K DPX?

Whats your workflow when working with SHAK and 4K. How do you use proxies etc?
