Hey folks
Recently picked up a Rode VideoMic X (image attached) and I can't seem to get audio out of the Epic MX with it. I've never used Red cameras for even scratch audio before, and read up in the manual and threads, yet still no luck.

I can see on the monitor that there is an audio feed coming through, on one channel, but neither in RCX or Premiere is there any recorded audio onto either channel. I'm quite certain this is most certainly pilot error, so if anyone has run into this before or can explain where I took a wrong turn then I'd be very obliged.

On another note, which I may as well ask while I'm here, I've been using musicbed.com for licensing tracks on smaller productions when the budget is tight, though I've never successfully found an alternative to their site. They don't always seem to have what we're after when it comes to more alternative, less pop-ish music or background drones. Where are you guys licensing your music/audio tracks for commercial use when in need of a song or 3?

Thanks in advance,

Kris
