This particular theft occurred from a car in London last month.

Be extra careful with 35mm lenses, as they appear to be "a steal to order" item in the UK and maybe Europe too.

Yes, indeed, post the serial numbers!
The more light that is shed on the stolen goods, the harder they will be to "fence".
Is there a UK-based equipment rental association that you can post the numbers with as well?
Same thing happened to me in June. Luckily they did not get my Superspeeds, but I lost a 12mm, 14mm, and 20-100 Cooke.
Lenses are a HOT commodity and should be treated like diamonds or gold. Locked up and supervised at all times.
