[FS: OPTICS] Set of 6 Classic Zeiss Standard Speed Mark II PL Mount Lenses Plus 2x Extender

Just listed on eBay, my personal set of premium Zeiss Standard Speed Mark II Lenses including a 16mm, 24mm, 32mm, 50mm, 85mm and 135mm. All mechanically and optically in excellent condition. Also included is a Century 2x Extender from Schneider Optics giving a total range from 16mm all the way to 270mm. Package price: $22,000US

These lenses, which were a standard of the industry for 35mm film production, are now enjoying a renaissance for Digital Cinema cameras. Many feel their classic character helps mitigate the antiseptic feel of modern digital sensors.

This set has a common maximum aperture of T2.1 and front diameter of 80mm. Focus scales are in feet and meters, and the coverage area is at least Super35 for all lenses in the set.

They are ready to go to work and provide many more years of service creating great images.

Also included is a custom molded Pelican-type case.

No 100mm?

That's right, no 100mm, but you could get to 100mm with the doubler on the 50mm. I know with a two stop exposure loss, that's not usually practical, and not something I ever did, but I do get a lot of use out of the 135mm with the 2x; It's a very good pairing. By the time I'm as long as 270mm, I'm usually at a daylight exterior location, and not so worried about exposure, and being able to get that long lens reach without having to reconfigure for a large zoom is very appealing.
