My brother Josh and I just Directed and Posted a new music video for Sesame Street that's currently trending on twitter and seems to be blowing up everywhere.

We shot this on our Epics with Timur Civan and his beautiful Cooke Zoom 18-100 and a few Panchros thrown in for good measure.

Also had a TVLogic 5.6WP/Small HD DP6 and a Flanders 21" hanging off the SDI for the Muppeteers and AC

Grade was done by Juan Salvo (who ran/posted the recent Cuda testing for CS6) in Resolve 9 Beta.

Needless to say Sesame Workshop is now in LOVE with Epic!!!!

The most fun i've ever had at a day of work.....

Also not to mention this is trending like crazy on the socialmediawebz.

hahahaha

thanks for sharing.

Edit: The National Children's Museum, being built in the D.C. area, has a strategic relationship with Sesame. They shared the video on FaceBook just a few hours ago, and it has been on the Sesame Street FB page for 5 :-)

The kid in me loves the cookie monster. I can see why so many people would want to see this. Great stuff.

Hows Idea Was IT?
It was commissioned by Sesame Workshop and we took it from there.
They are a great organization to work with, truly creative people not bogged down with business bullshit.

This is now the 4th place I've seen this video pop up. Somehow, one of my friends tweeted a link to this the middle of yesterday, which was the first place that I saw it. A friend that works in advertising, but has nothing to do with Sesame Street.

What I'm saying is: Viral Status Achieved. It really is a GREAT video, both in terms of the idea and creative, as well as the execution. Congratulations guys, I've been telling people to watch this for the past day and I didn't even know it was shot on Epic.

Oh, and matching the shot composition of the Jimmy Fallen and The Roots version? BRILLIANT.

Alastair Cookie anyone? The Monster was the star of some of their most inspired work. He's Da Man! :-)

So we've now passed 6.7 million views in a week and we surpassed Jimmy Fallon's parody, which was at 5.7million.
The reason thats cool is that we parodied both the original song AND the Fallon parody.

Looks like we've been consistent at 1million or so views a day with no signs of slowing so far. toked to see where this goes.
