Just had a serene arm installed on my easyrig (no gimbal).
Kind of a little underwhelmed with result to be honest. I hear great things... Maybe I was expecting too much, I was hoping to be able to achieve a more stable result than a naked shoulder mounted rig.

Anyone have tips on how to get best result?

Adjust the tension of your Easy Rig/Serene combo. Both can be adjusted independently.

Also, rolling onto your feet as opposed to flat-foot walking greatly improves stability as well. When you're stationary, try and pull the camera's rear into your body for another point of contact.

You also have to make sure your camera hangs perfectly balanced from the mount point. Then you want to be gentle in your grip of the camera to let the rig do the balancing. Using a tall top handle can help.

Thanks Chris. I have it set up where when the camera hangs down, the serene arm is parallel to the easy rig arm. I have a standard Easyrig cinema 3, how would I adjust the tension of that without getting a different shock absorber?

Hard to do a before and after as the serene is hard mounted.... Would you guys say that it's makes a big difference once I get used to it? Assuming that there's a good sized learning curve.

The Flowcine Gravity One looks interesting, any thoughts on that unit?
Very little info out there about it...

The Easy Rig is designed to take the weight of the camera and put it on your back, it's not for walking, it actually amplifies your walking movement into the camera. It's good to use on a vehicle of some sort like a Segway. The spring things that have popped up are nice to take some bounce out of vehicle movement but are also not for walking.
