I have had a couple of people ask if I would take the mic out of the kit to reduce the price and add the stock mic.

I did not buy it with the stock mic but with the Countryman B6 which is better then the stock mic and with a kevlar cord tougher for eng work. I have upgraded to the top of the line Lectrosonic and once again purchased Countryman B6 mics for their excellent performance and tough cable.

Also the system is 558-626 MHz

Hi Paul,

Just curious, what's the difference between the G3 and the 2000, stronger signal or better quality over all?

Thanks,
Tim

Hi Tim,

I feel it is both. I used G3's for years and think they are excellent for the price. Then I wanted to upgrade my audio and went with the 2000 and was impressed how much cleaner the audio was and better distance between transmitter and receiver. I do a lot on the water from boat to boat and with the 2000 we could go 100 yds all the time and the G3 it was less then 1/2 that distance.
Also the Countryman mic is very clean compared to the stock one.

Thanks Paul,

I have 3 - G3's, I did have a Lectrosonic until the freq. change over happened, then went to the G3's, in case something like that would happen again.

Very good deal, I'll give it some thought.
Thanks again,
Tim
