  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Semi-Urgent Question about the Joker 1600

I got a chimera a speed ring to pair with the joker 1600 for the first time. I haven't swapped the parabolic reflector for the beacons before. The Beacon is supposed to provide complete UV protection but I notice that it has holes in it like a cheese plate, Is that normal? And if so how does it stop UV?
 
I believe the bulb should have the UV protection in the bulb's glass (this was new for the 1600h the beaker needs the holes due to heat...I had a very early beaker and the wholes where too small and the colour was slightly off due to heat...

Also have the peace of mind knowing that this is a UV-Block lamp, so harmful UV rays are filtered out right at the bulb wall adding an extra layer of protection.
