Selling clips?

Hello my fellow redusers!

Ok so i got an email in regards to one of my videos and I'm receiving a offer on selling off some clips. Nothing set in stone but I'd like to be prepared and get some info if this does happen. Originally this was for a doc but it's been on the back burner and I've received offers in the past that I refused but I don't think it's going to kill me to sell a few clips. As of now they're requesting 1 or 2 seconds. I have no clue what to ask for and this is for commercial purposes. Any info would be great!

Hi Ivan, I sell quite a bit through a stock agency as well as free lance. Much of what I sell privately goes over seas. Often they will throw a figure out to me and likely will accept. I usually send he graded footage through WeTransfer.com after the $$ is wired or PayPal'ed and so far there has been zero hassels. Wire transfer international do take a few days extra and there was a snag on the last sale but it was cleared up quickly.

Thanks for the reply. So do I base the price by network popularity, region or just sell for a flat fee?
