Hey guys so I'm selling my Zeiss CP2's to this guy for a great price for the both of us. I am selling them because I'm building my kit for wildlife cinematography and primes obviously don't work hand in hand with wildlife filmmakers. I'm stuck between two things. 1. using the money for an Epic upgrade from the Scarlet and use existing money (7k) for equipment or if I should us the 10k for equipment first and then go with epic and have to save up... I'll have to save eigther way and I need the epic for its frame rates. Keep in mind, the extra 7K is not coming from the lenses. It's coming from a competition I won and from a stock footage sell. I may be only getting half that if taxes are involved.

Here is a list of equipment i'm planning on getting... Can you guys help me out with smart decisions? Thanks!

Epic-X - $10K

Equipment for wildlife - $11K
Canon 100-400 Lens

lens support
BW uv filter
Canon 10-22
Canon 100mm macro
Miller Compass 25 solo kit
red power pack
red station 1.8 mini.
redmag 128gb
field camera case
edelkrone slider with target

I would go to Epic...

Also would take sigma 120-300mm f/2.8 with 1.4x and 2.0x TC instead od canon 100-400mmm and probably tokina 11/16mm f/2.8.

One REDMAG 128gb might not be enough, minimum 512gb IMO.

Do you have your footage in a stock agency? I was recently invited to put my wildlife footage in one agency, but don't know if I should accept the invitation or if I put them all in ALAMY...
