  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Sekonic Spectromaster announced

Nice!

If anybody finds a place to buy one of this soon please announce it. I want bad.

I got my hands on a C700r tonight for a few minutes.
• is powered by two AA batteries
• does a dark calibration every time it's turned on (takes about 30 seconds)
• is about an inch thick (a quarter inch thicker than my Minolta Color Meter 3f)
• back and sides are grippable rubber material
• bottom has pc socket [for flash], and usb port for firmware upgrade

I was glad 200+ page! manual wasn't handy.
Thankfully, touch screen interface was easy to figure out, and select which info fields to display.
Sekonic Spectromaster does read out in lux and fc.

Next week I should have another play with the meter, and will post measurements of some usual light sources.
