So I got my camera last week and set out to profile it with my Sekonic L-758c. After a full day of shooting, a day of processing, and some time making the profiles I thought that i would share what I came up with.

I was very surprised by the results- the biggest factor in determining the latitude was the color space and not light color temp of the lighting source. (At least from a technical standpoint as evaluated by the software.) You're own acceptable tolerance for the noise floor my not match up with what the software calculated.

The RAW settings had the greatest range of just over 9 stops. Next was Rec709 with just under 8 stops, and then RedSpace came in at just under 7 stops. (These were the three settings that I processed, as they are the ones that I am most interested in. With each color space there was about 75 images that needed to be processed....)

In regards to work flow- I was able to shoot tests from an ASA of 200 to 1000 using both tungsten and HMI lights. The Sekonic software then took these results from each ASA and lighting situation and made them into one profile (one per light source and per color space). To see the individual results of each ASA you can load the profile into the Sekonic software and choose a corresponding ASA.

After shooting the images, I processed out stills via Red Alert. (The settings of which are contained in the above download. Check out the PDF & profiles as they should help clear up your questions.
