  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Hello,

I'm seeking a DP for "Savasana", a short film I'll be directing on 4/22-4/25 in San Francisco, CA. I need a talented and passionate DP so I can focus on the actors and the story.

Synopsis: Faye, a strange and beautiful Chinese/Malaysian businesswoman and her new assistant Linda arrive in San Francisco after escaping a murder in Los Angeles. Linda is thinking of leaving Faye, but her family has been working for Faye for 3 generations and wealth depends on her. After an argument over a stock transaction Linda storms off, and Faye wonders the city, trying to resist the urge to kill in a foreign country where her power doesn't reach.

I have $1500 budgeted for the DP (camera will be provided), the budget for the film is $15k and it's self-financed. The leads have been cast and we're auditioning for supporting roles in the next 3 weeks.

Please send a link to your work/reel to g@digitalkilnstudios.com. I'll send a copy of the script to candidates (for the rate I'm offering and quality of DP I'm looking for I realize you'd have to really love it) and we can take it from there.
