Sdk?

I seem to remember some talk of an SDK being released. Is that still happening? I looked on Red.com under Support - nothing yet...

Jim said they would release it once build 16 is ready.

As soon as we have a stable build, we will put our SDK together and release it. We are very happy that we have several 3rd parties lined up and waiting for the SDK which will pave the way to easy access for everyone.

Ahhh, right. I got ahead of myself ("We fully expect to show this build at NAB...").

I'm very interested in the possibilities that a modern camera company's SDK might offer, especially with other news about a WiFi control I/F. On one hand, the SDK may simply be about reading R3D files; OTOH, it may be about much more than that...

I believe the SDK is primarily focused on the REDCODE codec, rather than the camera itself. But who knows what may lie ahead.
