SD PAL land significant alaising.

Going to HD 1920 by 1080 was smooth enough ( except the QT banding iassue), now rendering to SD pal (FCP, Compresor, DVD studio) for broadcast/DVD introduces a significant amount of alaising?


Any known remedies? Is it a setting issue I am missing?

Do not use FCP for re-sizing your footage. Use Scratch, RedCine, After Effects, Shake, Nuke, whatever... - as long as it has a proper resizing algorithm. FCP does not, hence the severe aliasing.
