Has anyone had problems trying to upgrade to version 20.1.2 from SD card?
I don't have CF cards here and trying to make it work from a 1GB SD card.
Have downloaded the upgrade folder onto the card and verified it is there.
Card inserts into camera and when powered on just boots normally.
Camera sees SD card as little SD icon appears at top of viewfinder.
BTW I am trying to upgrade from Build 17 Ver 3.4.1

Cheers,

I have to check.. can you try it from USB ?

Will do Stuart.
Thanks for the prompt response sorry for the delay in getting back.
I will report on how USB works shortly.

Same response.
Camera boots normal.
USB icon appears at top of viewfinder but camera does not see upgrade file.
Any other suggestions?
Thanks for your help.

Yes, you can upgrade from any attached media - CF, RED-DRIVE plus USB.

And I can't recall if we support install from SD card...

So next step is - try an install from RED-DRIVE ?

O.K try the upgrade from RED-DRIVE, and / or tell me about the file that you are trying to upgrade with ?

It is a file called "redone.su" held in a folder called "upgrade" correct?

Yes it is.
I will try my RED RAM Drive.
Also I was wondering if I could try a non-RED, non Lexar, lower speed CF card?
I'll try both now and report momentarily.

Stuart,
I have the upgrade complete now.
It was my own stupidity at work rather than anything with the camera. :banghead:
I had the whole Version 20.1.2 folder on the SD and USB rather than just the upgrade folder.
With just the upgrade folder the camera had no problem finding redone.su and the upgrade was flawless.
Thanks for your help and sorry for the unnecessary question.
