  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Scriptnoted

Interesting find Elsie...

While I am already sharing all my Scripts virtually via Final draft which for those that have it will open automatically the Script in their computer, and if not just via PDF...

This could take it one step further... But it does not explain much of what you can include or what type of screenplay software is compatible with and so on...

Unless this is only to a Upload a script for others to read and comment and suggest edits/notes, which you then do back on your computer via the software of choice in my case FD, and then re-upload the edited revised one for people to read again, and so on...

But never actually allowing to do anything physically while the script is on the site.

Hey Ketch, some of your concerns are just what they need to hear. I've been in touch with one of the principals via Stage 32 and took it on my own to post a link since it does seem to be something that someone who is a pure scriptwriter might use.

I haven't delved too deeply into what they have to offer yet since I'm concentrating on something other than writing at the moment.

Thanks for the post Elsie. Apologies for my delay in posting a response. Took me a bit to get my Red User account set up.

ScriptNoted is a universal solution designed to work with any authoring tool that exports to PDF. We provide writers with the ability to securely share their work with readers online, track their progress in completing the read, and offer real-time page notes and robust coverage templates that help improve the quality of feedback you can get from your readers. All captured over time, version-by-version. It replaces the need to email PDFs around or share printed copies and then re-compile any notes provided into a single reference, which can be very time-consuming.

The platform serves as a complement to your preferred authoring tool - Final Draft, in your case above - to help manage the sharing and feedback aspects of the development workflow.

Hope that answers your questions, Ketch. Appreciate your taking the time to provide feedback.

Best - CB
