usually with epic, we shoot on UP, but i am thinking about buying a RPZ for my personal run and gun stuff.
are there screw on ND filters for the rpz?
if so with ND .9,1.2,1.5?

if not, is there a clamp on MB with 2 stages? i know it has a 144 mm diameter,
but i would really love to use the epic without RODs and only with the outrigger in a backpack kombo.

when attaching rods and stuff the cam gets huge again.
the red MB works asfaik, but its huge from what i can tell from the pictures.
or is there a third party who does some surgery and remove the umbrella infront of the lens without making it unusable? :)

I have a few ND's for the RPZ 17-50. The diameter is 67mm. Also, I use an LMB-5 screw on matte box. It's light and has two stages. Neither rotate though.

where did you find a 143mm adapter for the LMB-5 and where did you buy the screw on filters?
can you attach a screw on, plus the LMB?
there is a filterstage with an integrated Pola which is rotatable inside the filterstage, so the filterstage itself doesnt have to rotate

thanks

edit: the clamp adapter is ARRI K2.65223.0 Clamp Adapter Ø 143mm

€ 195,00

I bought the 143mm adapter and the LMB-5 from Filmtools in Burbank. I haven't combined a screw-on filter and a 4x5.6 filter with the LMB-5 and the RPZ 17-50 if that's what you are asking but that shouldn't be a problem as long as you use slim filters. The lens doesn't protrude outside of the built on sun shade of the RPZ. I purchased the screw on filters from B&H photo (B+W).

small question left...

with 4x5,65 filters, does the filters show vignetting on the wide end (17-20 mm) ?

As a side note, not sure if you are aware but RED showed some ND filters that can go behind the lens on EPIC. Not sure when these will become available, but will be a nice option to have when filming with this camera...

thanks Diego.
with camera assecoires i go Arri and Oconnor. They just keep their value and are much easier to resell if needed.
the red lens is my only "i want it for my own pleasure, no matter if i can get back the money "-lens.
