Earlier this year, there was a review in ShowReel about on set color grading systems and a Product called Scratch Lite was referred to with positive feedback from the reviewer.

Is RedCine Scratch Lite?

Short answer - No.

SCRATCH is a modular product - different parts of functionality can be turned on or off based on workflow needs.

Geoff Boyle was referring to SCRATCH modularized in such a way that very specifcally targeted on-set workflows.

For the last time (for cryin' out loud...)

Quoted from the thread that Antoine showed above...
"REDCINE is a RED product, and they are the experts on their product. I'm sure that info will come from them when they are ready to talk about it!"

SCRATCH is not REDCINE. REDCINE is not SCRATCH. : )

Hey Lucas,

if you remember, i once supposed to do an inexpensive red-raw only version of scratch.
As it seems, a (German) manufacturer is thinking about to do that now.
I suppose it will take them some time, especially as they seem to start now, and assimilate should have a considerable head off start. However it seems they are aiming for the $$$$ space with their software solution.
