  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Hi my name is Joe Sailer,

I am currently selling my set of Schneider Xenon FF Primes lens set. The lenses are in perfect condition and less than a year old, still have the original boxes as well. Selling them for $17,000, originally bought them all for right under 22k new. They are PL mount but they can be exchanged for Canon or Nikon mounts. I can vouch for Joe. I have worked with him multiple times, sold him his first RED camera. All around a great guy and you won't be disappointed in doing business with him.
Also those are great lenses.

Hi Jpe!

That is seemingly a great deal, especially for those looking at 8K coverage and the additions to the set scheduled for later this year. What are you choosing over these, for 8K coverage, please, if that is a concern for you?

Hey Nick,

I bought a set of Zeiss SuperSpeed Markii lenses, that fit more of my personal style. The Schneiders are great lenses as Dan mentioned and can verify. I can't afford to own them both especially with tax season coming. If you are interested, please let me know.

Just curious if they have lot of CA and hence so many sets are coming for sale on the marketplaces? I am looking for a cp2 set or Xenon mainly for rental business.
 
Hey Rajas,

Yes there is some CA, but I see that in almost every new lens set I work with thats built to work with full frame imagery and also be extremely sharp. I would highly recommend Xenons over a set of CP2, CP2s are way to contrasty and our rehoused still glass....I would just use still glass over CP2. Xenons have a real nice image, the extra blades create a very nice booked. My email is joesailer@gmail.com if you are interested.
