Schneider Black Frost vs. Tiffen Black ProMist (differences)

Hi!

I know these filters are supposed to be pretty similar.
I plan to test them side by side in the near future.

Any differences between them, subtle or less subtle?
Would a Schneider Black Frost 1/8 be almost a dead match with a Tiffen Black ProMist 1/8? (all else being equal)

I've never done side-by-side comparisons but FWIW I've always found the BF filters to feel stronger. That is, where I would think a 1/2 BPM would do the trick a 1/4 BF usually is closer to what I'd expect. Interested to hear others' take on this.
