I'm still really looking forward to picking up a few Scarlets in the future, but now I'm going to have to evaluate my plans again so it may be just as well that there is some delay, we'll see, I would love to have an S35 though.
Basically I have to see how long I am going to keep doing corporate work which would impact whether I get the cheaper Scarlet model at all, or just go for a cinema-style camera.
I'm directing my first feature film this summer, based on a script I wrote, shooting with the RED One, and partnering with a production company (pending some final paperwork) that has done some pretty significant work so I'm very excited about shooting with the RED One. It's going to be awesome... I've been a RED fan boy since before the camera was out and I'm just stoked about finally using it on something, and hopefully a project that will be a big break for me. We have to rent on this one, but I would like to make sure if this film is successful then I want to own the equipment to shoot another and another after that...
