Are there plans (perhaps a rough ETA) for a Red Rocket II that supports 5k full quality RT?

Given that 5K 1/2 res is more than any current monitor can display... I'd say we are in good shape for a bit. As the 4K displays come online... we'll have an option. We aren't done tuning the current Rockets.

I would assume that anyone in the world, present RED ONE owner or not would be eligible for this hand built deal. Think about it ... a company says I'll sell you a hand built brain for $45,000, now if 8,000 orders came in what would that company do? They'd build 8,000 brains. So if you have RED ONE #1,000 and you send in $45,000 you'll get your hand built brain, (in order). Now it's possible that they might cease production of the hand built sometime ... but I bet everyone who jumps on the first offer will get filled!

We don't have the ability to make large quantities of these EPIC-Ms (machined).

Hypothetically, if we could make 50 and only had orders from 35 RED ONE owners, that would open the door. I'm not exactly sure how many we can make or how many R1 owners are interested. This is a new thought for all of us.

Now... let me say this. Jarred and I have EPIC +13 Tattoos. We love them. Best camera I have ever owned. I take it with me everywhere... it is truly worth the wait and grief we have all gone through.

Tattoo clarification. +13 Tattoos are wonderful. But they are missing a board (don't ask) which makes them not suitable for sale. The EPIC-Ms will have that board. As will the production models.

touchscreen 5" LCDs work and your old RED LCDs work also (no touchscreen obviously).

Does the old 5.6" work now, or just the old 7"?

The firmware still needs to be tweaked a bit for the current 5.6" monitor to interface with it...however that can be done.

$45k wouldn't pay for the jet fuel for your private plane trip to Fiji. I know you don't need it and that I'm the one getting the deal here. But I'm totally serious. I tried emailing Charles and Brian but got an out-of-office reply.

It makes sense that RED is closed on BLACK Friday but I want me one a these. I'm sure your bank in Fiji is open tomorrow but I have a feeling I'll need more than your name to get my bank to wire the money to Fiji.

4K display is part of that picture, any hope for this year?

It would be so nice to have Epic out at NAB with monitoring options that reflect the power of the system without have to pay Some Other compaNY.

Any chance Stage 2 customers will be issued a serial number a head of time like you did for the RED ONE? I would love to know what number I am, assuming we are not simply getting the same number as our RED ONE.
