Hey guys,

I know there is a list for Scarlets in NYC, but I was wondering if anybody who owns a scarlet in NYC wanted to get together one day. Maybe we could all go to dinner or something and discuss what we are doing with our scarlets, how we are overcoming certain challenges, etc. Just to meet up, make contacts and get to know each other incase we need each other in a pinch to rent an extra body, accessories, etc.

+1 and I vote for Virgil's BBQ. Centrally located, full bar and great, heavy comfort food.

Hi guys, this looks cool. Do you guys want to shoot before or after the meet? Because I'd probably pass on just meeting a bunch of dudes I don't know for frozen margaritas at Times Square. Just kidding. No but really.

I would be interested in a meetup to discuss. If nothing else putting together a list of people to rent from for multicamera shoots would be awesome.
 
Im in for beers. Mainly to discuss technical issues and challenges. Perhaps a central locale might be at Lillies near Union Square???

Ok sounds like we have enough people now to start planning something.

For the most part I am available only on week nights for the next couple weeks. I'm ok with Union Square as well, but that doesn't quite seem like a central location if we have too many people who live up town... So I guess the first thing to vote on is. Who can meet in the middle of the week (say like a tuesday or a wednesday night), and who is ok with Union Square.
 
I vote midtown someplace with a proper bar and good food, which is why I suggested Virgil's near Times Square. Weeknights fine.
 
Weeknights is fine for me as well, next Wednesday or Thursday though or any day after the 10th, if possible. I'll be out of town till Tuesday.
 
My two partners at Astronaut just bought Scarlets, so that's two more to add to the mix! Lemme see what their schedules are like. During the week will probably be hard for us. Weekends anyone?
 
I'd be down for some type of meet up between all of us.
