I'm updating the firmware on my two Scarlet Dragons to the latest Beta build v6.2.25. One of the cameras updated fine, and on the first startup after the update I got this message: "Updating attached peripherals; this may take several minutes. Do not power down during this process!" which as per usual with updates disappeared within seconds.

The second camera has a hiccup on the first post update startup, the message: "Updating attached peripherals; this may take several minutes. Do not power down during this process!" has been on screen for over an hour.

The attached peripherals are:
PL Mount
5" Touch
SSD Side Module
Module Adapter
Quad Battery Module

What to do? Has anyone else had this experience?

Can't send a log file to RED... and I'm in no hurry to contact them since I'm not in a crisis to use the camera. I can be patient at this point, just looking for others experience.

Hey Glen. There was a discussion here within this last year about long firmware upgrades. I would hang on for another hour. I'll see if I can dig up the thread.

Thanks Bob!

I can leave it running for as long as it takes... or Thursday.

So after about 4-5 hours of the camera spinning it's wheels - I pulled the power plug and shut it down. I removed the Quad battery module, and the module adapter; then powered it up.

Everything is fine. I'll be testing it thoroughly before my next shoot, but it all seems fine.
