  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Believed since day one. Jim talks a different language, a sort of "I give a shit" dialect. Very rare in these parts.

Hmmm. Sorry for asking, but where do I stand in this matter? Been here basically since the beginning, have offered subjective support but have been very modest in the kissing ass approach as I have never liked the teachers pet all too much that goats on something or other. Hey wait, I have an attitude a bit like RED's. Am I in? Sorry to pose the question, but I feel like "my keeping it real approach," may have me in the gray area. Just want to exactly understand where the line is drawn, that's all.

I get the impression that if you have to ask then you're probably not receiving special consideration. Red has taught me a few lessons in patience. The camera I want, be it Scarlet or Epic or something in between will get here when it gets here.

I'm looking forward to the 3rd to see what Red has been cooking.

No offense man, but you didn't answer my question at all. You are preaching patience when my question had nothing to do with that. I am wondering which trolls/fools are on "the list." That is the question. All this talk about "a list," I want to know what peeps have been blacklisted. I look forward to the 3rd of November too. That wasn't my question though.
 
UGH, I WANT ONE! I've been shooting RED since 2007 thanks to the company I work for that owns one (and soon, an Epic-X). But to be able to purchase MY OWN Scarlet? THAT would be truly awesome. Put a sign-up sheet on Mount Olympus and I'll find a way to put my name on it.
 
I have been waiting patiently for Scarlet since the beginning, I don't post much but I read everything. And reading these announcements have me pumped that this journey from an idea to camera in my hands is not over. It will be just a new chapter in the saga that is SCARLET.

Spoke to someone at RED in London today. They said that the best thing to do is just order through the website as normal and they will deal with everything.

It will be November 4th for us, at 2am. So ordering on the website sounds like the best option, otherwise you have to wait for someone to start manning the phone at around 9am, and everyone knows they will be sold out by 6am ;)

So even more reason to hope for a Red HQ unveil. Those that fly out or drive get to stand in line all night to buy a Scarlet.
I got a sleeping bag; though So Cal isnt cold.
 
Ordering opens November 3rd at 7pm PST, both UK and US.
