Scarlet X upgrade to Dragon... Still available? When until?

[J G Harding]

A short post I know but the question is in the title...

I heard it is ending but I've not seen absolutely confirmation of when, or if it's done already...

Sorry. This ended a long time ago. On a side note. The upgrade from Scarlet-X to Scarlet-Dragon was $9500 body only if I remember correctly. You could probably buy a used one outright for that price these days.

[Akin A]

You can get a new Scarlet W brain for the same price as that upgrade, right?

The cost to upgrade from a Scarlet-X to Scarlet-W* is $9,950.00 AND you get to keep your Scarlet-X !!:wink5:

(* All accessories not included)

But then you can't swap lens mounts! ;-)

Can't swap lens mounts on the raven, and the sensor is smaller than s35. That's a dealbreaker for some. We also don't know if the side ssd module is removable.

Thanks all, recently bought a Scarlet MX and was wondering if there's room for upgrade.

I'm still very happy with the camera, so not to worry, perhaps I'll find an old Scarlet Dragon in a few years
