[FS: RED Cameras] Scarlet-X to Scarlet-W

[Simon Van Parijs]

Hi guys,

I am wondering what the upgrade path is from Red Scarlet-X to Scarlet-W? I haven’t found it on their website but I have a Red Scarlet-X here lying about and would like to upgrade it before it gets completely obselete.

Does anybody know?

Thanks,
Simon

You have until the 28th to do the "olive branch" deal which lets you trade in your X for a W for ~10k, or 12.5k with vlock expander. IIRC. Email your rep for details.

This is in addition to the program that's been on for a while that lets you trade in + 19.5k for an Epic-W.

Hi Simon

I've just done the Scarlet MX to W upgrade, it's not featured on the website but if you contact your rep they can arrange it for you.

FYI you only need to send them the MX Brain and side SSD module, you can keep any lens mounts to put on your new W camera if you wish.

Best,

Simon

Hey Simon,

My understanding is that upgrade path is about $2,500 - $3,000 discount depending on the package. Was that the arrangement you worked out with your BS rep?

Thanks!
Micah
